Barista Supervisor

Duties

• Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery
• Lead, motivate, and train baristas and staff to meet performance standards and deliver outstanding customer experiences
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Oversee food safety protocols, food handling, and food preparation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Handle cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions with precision
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; place orders as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized café environment by adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist in resolving customer inquiries or complaints promptly to foster loyalty and satisfaction

Experience

• Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and serving techniques
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a café or retail food service environment
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
