Barista (Tavern) Manager

THE COFFEE HOUSE AND TAVERN IS LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED BARISTA/BARTENDING MANAGER. ** MUST BE 21+ FOR THIS POSITION **
This candidate must have a passion for bartending and coffee. As a Barista/Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and alcoholic beverages while providing exceptional customer service. The Coffee Lodge is a TAVERN offering GAMING, Food and Spirits. UNLIKE any other COFFEE establishment in town this is a great opportunity for the right individual to grow with our company.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks with and without liquor, beer, wine and tea.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café/bar area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately using the Aloha POS system.
• Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Promote menu items and upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Requirements:

• Must Haves: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YRS OF BARISTA MANAGEMENT IN A COFFEE LIKE SETTING...with drive-thru
• Bar Experience: KNOWLEDGE OF ALCOHOL AND FAMILIARITY WITH GAMING IS A PLUS
• Coffee Knowledge: A love for coffee and a good understanding of different coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso-based drinks such as lattes and cappuccinos is important.
• Teamwork: We’re all about working together! A friendly attitude and the ability to collaborate with your team to keep things running smoothly is essential.
• Customer Service: Passion for creating a positive, friendly experience for every guest.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Keeping the coffee station, equipment, and seating areas clean, organized, and sanitized is a must to ensure our guests have the best experience.
• Cash Handling: You’ll be handling cash and using a POS system, so accuracy in processing orders and giving correct change is important.
• Health Code: Possesses a strong understanding of health codes and the critical importance of adhering to safe food handling practices.
• Flexibility: Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Time Management: Must possess the skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handling: Experience in food handling and preparation is beneficial but not mandatory.
