Barista Team Lead

Job Overview
As a Barista Team Lead with our team, you will be an essential part of creating a positive experience by preparing and serving a variety of coffee and beverages on site at curated client events. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION!

What you’ll be doing:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and creativity.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and answering customer inquiries.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee preparation and serving areas.
• Operate coffee brewing equipment and machines efficiently.
• Follows station specific duties and responsibilities.
• Opens and/or closes area following appropriate checklist, verifies completion with Manager on Duty prior to leaving the area.
• Follows standards and maintains work area and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food and drink-handling practices.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a hygienic and safe environment and ensure safe and sanitary food while practicing safe drink-handling practices.
• Assist in restocking inventory and maintaining supplies.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 4- 8-hour shifts and perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds, including coffee bags and supplies.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is a must
• Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented
• Positive outlook
• Must possess basic math, reading and writing skills
• Must be multi-task oriented
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable and consistent transportation
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Willingness to submit to a drug test and criminal background check

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
