Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth transactions
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash and credit card transactions confidently, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling practices to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed to enhance guest experience

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or tearista in a café or food service environment with strong coffee knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Strong time management abilities to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
