Barista Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Guest Experience:
-
Greet and assist all guests upon entry and throughout their visit.

Ensure guests have an enjoyable experience from arrival to departure.

Promote and foster an environment where meaningful connections can be built.

Beverage Craftsmanship:
-
Master the art of pulling the perfect espresso shot.
-
Demonstrate artistry with milk while maintaining a high-quality pour.
-
Prepare all espresso drinks and other beverages accurately for dine-in and carry-out.

Show dedicated care for all grinders and the espresso machine.
-
Service & Order Management:
-
Assist with taking counter-placed and call-in beverage and food orders and processing payments.
-
Run beverages to guest tables and ensure orders are correct and delivered in a timely manner.

Assist with Hosting and Counter Togo service as needed.

Menu Knowledge:
-
Maintain detailed knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, including key ingredients, common allergens, and suggested menu pairings.

Team Support & Operations:
-
Assist coworkers with essential tasks such as bussing tables, food running, and stocking supplies.
-
Constantly maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to good food safety practices.

Perform all assigned Running Side work and Closing Side work duties.

Assist Management with inventory counts (coffee, paper, etc.).

Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Manager on Duty.

Barista Growth Path:
The Growth Path for a successful Barista to Barista Trainer > (Server/Bartender) > Lead Server > FOH Restaurant Manager > AGM > GM > Central Management Positions.
- Experience: 6+ months of prior Barista experience is preferred.

Passion: A strong enthusiasm for coffee is a significant advantage.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Communication: Strong oral communication skills in English are required.
