Barista - Tribe Coffee Vero Beach

Job Summary

Tribe Coffee Vero beach are seeking passionate and dedicated Barista's to join our Coffee Roastery and Espresso bar.

The ideal candidates must have a bubbly personality, a love for community and the science of coffee extraction. We roast coffee on site and extract on a La Marzocco commercial Espresso machine. We require a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.

Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages according to established recipes and standards in store and in our coffee trailer
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions and the POS accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all products are handled properly and safely.
• Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting low inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere while promoting menu items.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus.
• Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
