The Coffee Syndicate, England Hospitality's exciting new espresso and dessert bar located in Elk's Plaza on the Gatlinburg Parkway, is looking for a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team!

Position: Barista

Location: The Coffee Syndicate in Elk's Plaza, 968 Parkway Unit 5, Gatlinburg

Shifts Available: Opening & Closing Shifts

Tentative Hours of Operation: Monday-Sunday 8am-2:30pm (opener arrives 7am and closer finishes around 3pm)

Compensation: Hourly* + Tips

*Hourly rates:

No experience $15 + tips

Experienced Barista 17 + tips

-Cash & charge tips received daily/payroll paychecks received weekly

$3 subsidized parking garage passes available for parking assistance

Uniform:

We provide two company t-shirts and an apron, and you provide either dark denim or black jeans, and black non-slip shoes.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks

-Box/bag delicious desserts

-Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and positive attitude

-Maintain a clean and organized work environment

-Follow all recipes and standards as set forth during training

-Handle cash and process transactions accurately

-Support the team in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

-Experience as a Barista (preferred, but not required)

-A passion for coffee and exceptional customer service

-Ability to work & multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment

-Strong communication and teamwork skills

-Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays

-Reliable transportation
