Barista (WED/THURS shifts)

BoBaPoP Tea Bar – Barista (Pentagon Location)

Our BoBa Baristas are the heart of what makes each drink exceptional. Every team member ensures that every order is made correctly, promptly, and with pride.

BoBaPoP Tea Bar is locally owned and operated, emphasizing teamwork, respect, and quality craftsmanship in every drink we serve.

Position Details

• Schedule: Must be available to work Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, consistently.
• Location: Pentagon — due to limited parking, metro or rideshare travel is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Successfully complete the BoBaPoP Barista Training Program.
• Welcome customers warmly and prepare drinks consistently according to all recipes and presentation standards.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Adhere to BoBaPoP’s operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and workplace safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace for smooth team operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a positive, efficient work environment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• Able to work Wednesdays and Thursdays (10 AM–3 PM) consistently.
• Must pass a federal background check.
• Must complete and pass required onsite food safety & sanitization training
• Reliable transportation (metro access preferred due to limited parking).
• Dependable, positive attitude, and a genuine enjoyment of engaging with others.
• Passion for bubble tea is great — but passion for delivering A+ customer service is essential.

Compensation

• Pay: Based on experience.
• Schedule: Paid twice per month.
• Paid sick leave

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 18 per week
