Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Handle cash transactions confidently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, ensuring accuracy with retail math and café sales
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas according to food handling regulations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy weekend periods
• Assist with food preparation and food safety procedures to ensure high-quality offerings
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment or supplies, and work weekends consistently

Pay: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour
