Barista with Latte Art Expertise/Server

We are looking to hire an experienced Front of House associate to join our growing team. Must have a minimum of 1 year Barista experience& serving .Must be able to work in a fast pace enviroment, be able to multi task and can handle pressure.Knowledge of Latte Art is prefered .You will have to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea, educate customers on our menu, make recommendations based on their preferences, and up-sell menu items. You will also serve customers & use the POS System. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent customer service skills and Excellent knowledge of how Semi Automatic Espresso machines work. Note: this position’s compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities

• Communicate to customers our Menu and answer their questions regarding ingredients
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Serve beverages, pasteries & food to customers.
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep Front of the house area clean at all times.
• Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
• Clean Front of house at the end of shift & before closing .

Skills

• Previous work experience as a Barista & or Server .
• Ability to do latte art.
• Ability to work well under pressure, and multi-task in a fast paced enviroment.
• Must be able to Work well with others & independently without sacrificing productivity.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including peak sales times, opening shifts, closing shifts& weekends.
• Must have a strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have Serve Safe certificate

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
