Barista/Bartender

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Bartender to join our team. As a Barista/Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and answer any questions about menu items.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, ensuring adherence to food handling safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients, communicating needs to management as necessary.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while performing basic math calculations for sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours and special events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or retail environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong food handling knowledge and understanding of food safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different beverage preparations.
