Barista/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/ Bartender to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to customer satisfaction will contribute to an enjoyable experience for all patrons. You are also responsible for all beverages for the waitstaff as well as cleaning all of the glassware. You also have four seats at the bar to serve food and beverages and anwser phones and handle take out orders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, Mimosa’s & other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations as needed.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash management.
• Monitor inventory levels of supplies and assist in restocking as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Uphold health and safety standards in food preparation and service areas.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and creating positive experiences for guests.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
• Excellent time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in bartending or working in nightclubs is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is beneficial.
• A willingness to help colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment is essential.

Pay: $11.92 - $12.00 per hour
