Barista/Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Barista to join our team at our vibrant café. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality coffee and food items. Your passion for coffee and exceptional customer service skills will help enhance the overall experience for our patrons.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care.
• Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations and dining areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions regarding menu items.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Uphold health and safety standards in food preparation and service.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a POS system is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $12.24 - $13.03 per hour
