Barista/Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, specialty beverages, and alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktails with precision and flair
• Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Clover POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café or bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently by utilizing effective time management skills during busy hours
• Upsell menu items to increase sales while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change

Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years of experience
• Must be 18 years of age
• Proven experience as a barista or bartender with knowledge of coffee preparation and food service operations:
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and basic math for cashiering and retail math tasks
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly if applicable, following all legal requirements and safety protocols
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
