Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, cocktails, and food items with precision and flair
• Operate Square POS System with accuracy
• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic retail math to ensure correct transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and during serving
• Assist in food handling and food safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple customers quickly while maintaining quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a barista or bartender with knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage crafting
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Familiarity with Square POS system is preferred
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced service periods efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is highly desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
