Barista/Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our dynamic café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for our customers while delivering exceptional service. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; communicate needs to management as necessary.
- Uphold food handling practices to ensure the safety and quality of all products served.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere and enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
