Barista/Cashier

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, latte and other espresso based coffee drinks, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality beverages
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register records
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, food service, or a coffee shop is required. Experience making espresso-based drinks and operating an espresso machine is also required.
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and transactions
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Experience with square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is required
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Basic knowledge of food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
