Barista/Cashier

We’re hiring a Summer Barista/Cashier! This role requires availability for a variety of shifts throughout the entire summer season.

Compensation is hourly plus participation in our tip-share program.

Please note: this is not a flex position—we’re looking for someone committed to working the full summer school break: June through mid-August. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on customer service experience while earning steady income.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) and use digital order screens, POS ipad tablets and other forms of digital cashiering with ease
• Comply with health and safety regulations and fulfill state certification if needed

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
