Barista/Cashier/Customer Service

**Job Summary:** We are seeking someone friendly and skilled to join our dynamic team for our morning opening shift. Tuesday through Friday, 6:30am - 10:30am. As a skilled front of the house employee, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages to our customers in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages to customers, ensuring that every drink meets our high standards of quality and presentation. -Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and handling regulations. - Take orders, operate the cash register, and handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently. - Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and helping with menu selections. - Prepare food items, such as pastries and sandwiches, as needed. - Manage time effectively, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines. - Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere. **Requirements:** - Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry. - Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently. - Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and helpful demeanor. - Familiarity with food safety and handling regulations. - Basic sales skills, with the ability to upsell and promote menu items. - Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move quickly and safely around the cafe.
