Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, beverages, and food items following established recipes and safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash register operations and balancing drawers at shift end
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing special requests with enthusiasm
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, food prep stations, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to ensure freshness and quality of all offerings
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining attention to detail

Experience

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred
• Proven cashiering skills with familiarity using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Experience in food service or retail environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills
• Experience working in a café or food industry setting is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
