Barista/Cashier(FULL-TIME)

Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, beverages, and light food items with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operation, change calculation, and balancing at shift end
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, adhering to proper food handling protocols
• Assist with food preparation and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all tasks are completed with professionalism and speed

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry background preferred; strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work full-time hours including weekends and holidays as needed
• Prior experience in food service or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
