Barista/Cashier(full-time)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order entry and cash handling
• Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide friendly service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Manage cash register operations including cash handling, credit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café environment
• Assist with food handling, basic food prep, and serving snacks or light menu items as needed
• Support sales goals by engaging customers and promoting products while managing retail math for inventory control

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light equipment or supplies, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude eager to learn and grow within the food service industry
