Barista/Deli/Bakery Clerk

`Job Summary`

We are seeking a Barista/Deli/Bakery Clerk to join our team. As a Barista/Deli/Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for making Coffee, assisting customers, preparing hand made sandwiches, and maintaining a clean and organized deli and bakery. We are a small family owned Bakery and Deli with phenomenal customers and would love to have you join our team.

We are currently looking for 2 employees working 3-4 days a week. Our hours are Monday-Friday 9am - 5pm, and Saturday 9am - 3pm.

```Responsibilities```

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Take customer orders and provide product recommendations

- Making coffees, lattes, and various hot drinks

- Prepare deli sandwiches

- Package and label bakery products for display and sale

- Ensure all bakery items are fresh and properly stocked

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery department

- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper sanitation procedures

- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately

- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

```Experience```

- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred - especially Barista experience

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices

- Familiarity with retail math for handling cash transactions

- Strong sales skills to promote bakery products to customers

- Basic kitchen skills such as measuring ingredients and following recipes
