Barista/Food Prep @ Kings Coffee Company

Schedule: Afternoon shift (11:30am~4:30pm)
Daily Tips: Minimum $40 – $100+ (depending on daily sales)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Barista / Food Prep to join our team, primarily for closing shifts.

This role is a hybrid position that requires both barista responsibilities and kitchen support. In addition to preparing coffee and beverages, team members are expected to assist in the kitchen by preparing sandwiches, paninis, and other food items for customers.

Baristas are the face of the café and interact directly with guests throughout service. This role requires strong multitasking skills, speed, and professionalism while maintaining a warm and welcoming presence.

Closing team members are responsible not only for service but also for maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards to ensure the café is fully prepared for the following day.

Prior barista or café experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks and coffee beverages efficiently and consistently
• Prepare sandwiches, paninis, and other food items according to café standards
• Provide attentive, friendly, and professional customer service
• Manage multiple orders while maintaining accuracy and speed
• Assist with food preparation and order assembly
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace throughout shifts
• Complete detailed closing duties and cleaning procedures
• Ensure the café meets cleanliness and operational standards before closing

Qualifications

• Previous barista or café experience preferred
• Food handling or kitchen prep experience preferred
• Fast and efficient while maintaining quality and accuracy
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
