Barista/Guest Service

Join our new café team as a Barista/Guest Service Associate, where your energy and passion for exceptional customer experiences will shine! Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, beverages, and light food items efficiently and with precision and care.
• Greet guests warmly, taking orders accurately using POS system.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and handling. Will need Texas Food Handlers certificate.
• Provide outstanding service by addressing guest inquiries, making recommendations, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Support food industry best practices by adhering to food safety protocols and food handling procedures.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a barista or in drive thru/food service is highly preferred; coffee experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and personality and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper serving practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be looking for long term employment and growth. We are not hiring seasonal help at this time.
• Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the service industry while delivering exceptional guest experiences!
• Some weekend availability required.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.25 per hour
