Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care.
• Assist in food preparation, including basic food handling, plating, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and dining spaces, adhering to food safety protocols.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction.
• Support retail sales by engaging with customers, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent customer service.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Experience in food service or food preparation roles is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cashiering and retail math calculations.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food handling and cleaning. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
