Barista/Playground Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Playground Attendant/Barista to join our team. As a playground attendant, you will be responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for children and their families while assisting with various tasks related to the operation of our play center. As a barista, you will be responsible for making drinks, preparing food, doing inventory, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages, including coffee, while maintaining cleanliness in the food preparation area.
• Greet and assist guests as they enter the cafe/playground, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor play areas to ensure safety and adherence to rules, assisting as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and POS system.
• Assist with sales of merchandise and snacks, utilizing retail math skills for accurate pricing.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the play center, including restrooms and dining areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

• TB Skin Test + Physical Examination
• Food and Beverage Health Certificate
• Police and court clearance
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with children and their families.
• Food preparation experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
• Must multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
