Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and friendly service
• Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, dining space, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist in food handling and food preparation to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and promote sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee experience preferred; familiarity with serving in a café or retail environment is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions, retail math calculations, and sales tracking
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail math is advantageous
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
