Barista / Sales Associate | Arctic Bath & Coffee

Reports to: General Manager
Location: 4th St. N, Arctic Bath & Coffee

About Us: Arctic Bath & Coffee is St. Pete’s premier cold plunge coffee house. We're seeking passionate, creative, and health-focused individuals who are driven to make our coffee brand the centerpiece of St. Petersburg, FL.

Mission:

• Provide excellent customer service and craft amazing coffees.
• Drive coffee sales traffic and increase cold plunge membership.
• Outreach for membership leads and prospects.
• Retain and engage current members and coffee customers

Expected Staffed Hours:

• Mon-Thu: 6:45am to 1:15pm; 3:15pm to 8:00pm
• Fri: 6:45am to 4:30pm
• Sat: 6:45am to 2::30pm
• Sundays and some holidays are unstaffed

Compensation:

• $16 Hourly + Bonuses + Commission + Tips

Responsibilities:

Customer Relations & Training:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, and train employees on maintaining company coffee standards.
• Greet and assist customers, provide recommendations, and cross-sell cold plunge memberships and retail products to meet sales goals.
• Perform all coffee bar operating checklists, oversee inventory management, and order supplies.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Selling memberships and retail products, meeting sales goals.

Marketing & Prospecting:

• Engage in social media promotions related to coffee & tea.
• Update prospecting/client logs daily.

Basic Duties:

• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Follow all studio operating checklists.
• Aim for 5-star ratings on review sites.
• Kindly & compassionately resolve customer issues promptly.

Training & Certifications:

• Complete CPR, AED, First Aid, and Food Safety Handler Certifications
• Complete Arctic Bath & Coffee membership sales training modules.
• Complete Cold Plunge Coach certification training.
• Candidates MUST demonstrate proficiency in latte art.
