Barista/Server

Dream Cafe Uptown is looking for happy, healthy and motivated people to join our Dream Team! We are an established restaurant in the heart of Uptown, with lots of loyal guests and many people new to Dallas.

Our hours are 7 am until 3 pm everyday, no nights are required or offered. Please respond via email or contact the restaurant at 214-954-0486 to set up an interview.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, providing menus and taking drink orders promptly.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Clover, to process orders and payments efficiently.
• Ensure food safety and proper handling while serving dishes to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and concerns to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service and restaurant environments
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Proficiency in using POS systems, such as Clover
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Experience in fine dining and culinary settings is a plus
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash registers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
