Barista/Shift Supervisor

El Cubano Sandwich Shop is hiring a friendly Barista / Shift Supervisor who delivers first-class customer service and can keep up in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone reliable, organized, and experienced with coffee service, POS systems, phone orders, and packaging orders accurately.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting customers with a positive attitude and excellent customer service
Preparing coffee and espresso drinks using a coffee machine
Taking customer orders in person and over the phone
Using the POS system accurately
Packaging and organizing orders for dine-in, pickup, and delivery
Helping keep the front counter and work area clean and organized
Working quickly and efficiently during busy hours
Assisting with order flow and making sure orders are completed on time
Supporting the team and helping lead shifts when needed

Requirements:

Previous barista or coffee machine experience required
POS experience preferred
Phone order experience preferred
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be organized and able to multitask
Must have great customer service skills
Must be dependable and on time
Food Handler / Food Manager Certificate required or must be willing to obtain
