Job Summary

We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team—not just as a barista, but as someone who’s ready to take on a leadership role and help shape the future of a unique, multi-faceted space. Our shop blends a café, wine shop, bottle shop, and grab-and-go bakery—and we’re seeking someone who’s excited to grow with us, contribute creatively, and help manage the day-to-day operations.

This role is ideal for someone who’s equally comfortable behind the bar crafting beautiful drinks, supporting the team, and taking ownership of store-level responsibilities. You’ll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to the table, help develop the menu, guide the team, and play an active role in improving how we operate.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages with consistency, care, and creativity.
• Help lead and support the team throughout service, stepping in wherever needed to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Collaborate on recipe development, seasonal offerings, and ways to elevate the guest experience.
• Take ownership of daily store operations—including opening/closing procedures, shift leadership, and problem-solving.
• Engage with customers in a warm, knowledgeable way, offering recommendations across coffee, food, wine, beer, and retail items.
• Operate the POS system efficiently and work with others employees who are not at that location full time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the café, kitchen, and retail areas.
• Support food prep, follow safety protocols, and ensure the team is upholding health standards.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and ordering supplies.
• Contribute to building a supportive, collaborative work environment focused on growth and quality.

Qualifications

• A strong passion for coffee, food, and hospitality—with a desire to grow into a leadership role.
• Previous experience in café, hospitality, or food service management preferred.
• Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excitement for contributing ideas, improving systems, and helping guide the direction of the store.
• Interest or experience in wine, beer, and spirits is a big plus; willingness to learn is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and stay calm, positive, and solutions-oriented during busy shifts.
• Excellent communication skills with a team-first attitude.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is helpful.
• Solid understanding of food safety practices and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and quality.
• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and team growth.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.72 - $19.47 per hour
