Job Title: Barista-Tea Mate

Job Location: 300 Broadway, Providence

We are looking to hire friendly tea and coffee enthusiasts to prepare beverages for our customers. Tea Mates guide our guests through our tea and beverage offerings. They connect with guests, take orders, and make specialty drinks. Comprehensive tea training is provided and previous tea knowledge is NOT a prerequisite for this role. To succeed in this role, you must provide strong team support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Weighing, measuring, and portioning ingredients.
• Wrapping, date-labeling, and storing beverage and/or food items.
• Cleaning and organizing work areas, equipment, utensils, and service stations.
• Fulfilling online, takeout and dine-in orders.
• Following recipes to constantly prepare menu items to spec.
• Serving customers in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Providing customers with information regarding ingredients, availability, and pricing.
• Receiving and storing deliveries.
• Complying with relevant safety, hygiene, and service standards and procedures.

Requirements:

• Completion of the provided training program.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Proficient understanding of food allergies and modified diets.
• Available to work holidays, weekends, and extended hours.
• MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS
