Barista/Tearista

Midori Tea House is looking for a barista (tearista) to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Our mission: Be a lighthouse dessert place in the neighborhood.

Responsibilities

• Craft a variety of tea-based drinks, including traditional teas, matcha, and specialty drinks.
• Provide friendly customer service and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Handle transactions accurately and assist with café upkeep.
• Restock supplies and ensure tools are properly cleaned and cared for.
• Provide excellent customer service—warm, friendly, and attentive.
• Support pastry and dessert presentation when needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for tea and customer service.
• Café experience is preferred. Alternatively, a candidate with experience in a similar role and a strong work ethic is also qualified.
• Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
