A bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing bar operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drink Preparation: Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipes or customer preferences. This includes crafting classic cocktails and innovative drinks.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure that the bar is well-stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Compliance: Verify the age of customers to ensure they meet legal drinking age requirements and adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glasses, utensils, and equipment, and ensuring that the bar is tidy and presentable.
  • Menu Development: Create new cocktail recipes and inform customers about specials and new offerings.
