Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems clover , and managing cash handling efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Manage a bar of 12 seat effective time management, ensuring prompt service even during busy hours
• Upsell beverages and promote specials to enhance sales while providing knowledgeable recommendations based on guest preferences
• Monitor guest intoxication levels responsibly and enforce legal drinking age policies to ensure safe consumption

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender /nightclub, or banquet environments; retail math skills are a plus for handling transactions accurately
• Familiarity with POS systems such clover POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and inventory counts; experience in hospitality or food industry roles is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Nightclub or catering experience is advantageous; previous restaurant experience is highly valued
