Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our highly awarded hospitality team! In this role, you will craft and serve beverages with at our small bar, as well as back up the FOH team at our Chef's tasting counter as needed.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems Toast POS to ensure accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations
• Assist with food service when required, including serving food at bars or during catering events
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by verifying guest ages and monitoring intoxication levels during shifts

Skills

• Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods seamlessly
• Excellent customer service abilities to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests
• Experience in fine dining or with cocktail creation is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Familiarity with the food industry & hospitality practices

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
