Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience, ensuring they feel valued from their first sip to last call.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering strictly to food safety and food handling standards.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, promote responsible serving practices, and comply with all alcohol service regulations.
• Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving food items during banquets or catering events.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during high-volume periods such as nightclub nights or special events like weddings or corporate functions.
• Keep accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and incident reports to support operational efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as a nightclub, fine dining restaurant, or banquet setting.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality service.
• Experience working with diverse clientele in hospitality settings; retail math skills are a plus for cash handling accuracy.
• Previous roles involving catering or food industry experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills complemented by effective communication abilities; previous retail or hospitality experience is preferred. Pay: $21.17 - $30.00 per hour
