Brinson Spirits is Cherokee County’s first destination distillery, winery, and restaurant! We are excited to grow with the community and craft shareable memories that will last a lifetime. Our team is focused on service, hungry for success, and inspired to craft unique experiences through our food, beverage, and service.

The Role:

As a Bartender you are at the heart of your guest’s social experience while they are with us. Whether mixing our signature cocktails, suggesting the perfect pairing, or engaging with guests, you are instrumental in creating shareable memories that will last a lifetime. Your ability to balance efficiency, creativity, and outstanding service is what will make their experience unforgettable.

Skills Required to Excel:

• Strong Customer Service skills with a genuine desire to create memories for our guests that will last a lifetime.
• Solid Multi-tasking abilities - ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast paced environment
• Strong and effective communicator - ability to communicate with multiple departments to align the best experience for our guests
• Attentive to small details
• Ability to follow company recipes consistently
• Strong Time Management skills - ability to provide a seamless service for your guest
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, and a willingness to expand your expertise
• Ability to accurately operate a POS

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel valued from the moment they arrive
• Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Ability to read and write in English
• Suggestively selling feature items
• Encouraging guests to sign up for our club
• Making drink orders to spec consistently
• Running food and drink orders to the correct table/seat which may include lifting up to 30lbs
• Anticipating guest’s needs and providing thoughtful, personalized service
• Following alcohol awareness procedures for identifying age, preventing intoxication, and dealing with intoxicated guests
• Collect full payment (cards / cash) for drinks and/or food served and account for all monies at the end of each shift
• Maintaining bar appearance
• Monitoring inventory levels and communicating supply needs effectively
• Performing opening, closing, and side work
• Taking tables in the dining room and maintaining a clean and inviting area for our guests
• Delivering purchased Merch supplies to guests before departure
• Answering the phone and taking to go orders
• Assisting the service team in maintaining a clean restaurant
• Communicating effectively with our team and our guests
• Adhering to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Assisting other team members as needed ensuring an outstanding hospitality experience
• Stands/Walks 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Reaches, lifts, and bends, frequently
• Any other responsibilities as assigned

Pay: From $2.13 per hour
