Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in transactions and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings, while handling any issues promptly and tactfully.
• Restock bar inventory as needed, track sales accurately, and assist with inventory counts to prevent shortages.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events like catering or food industry functions.

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong cash handling skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Experience in food service or hospitality environments that require quick thinking and adaptability.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails; knowledge of the food industry is a plus.
