Bartender

We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve beer, wine & our classic cocktails to our customers. The right candidate will have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. If you are efficient, observant, knowledgeable and personable, you're the one for the job.

Responsibilities:

• Greets customers as they enter the location & maintains a positive attitude at all times
• Take orders, make drink and ensure positive guest experience
• Maintaining an organized and clean work environment & adhering to proper sanitation guidelines, along with completing opening & closing duties
• Accepts money in the form of cash, checks & credit or debits cards for products purchased
• Knowledge of drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials
• Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol
• Take inventory and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
• Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations
• Ensuring charges are accurate and return correct change to patrons
• Balancing the cash register
• Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning the bar and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Develop new cocktail recipes
• Knowledge of the menu with the ability to make suggestions
• Knowledge of our coffee blends, roasts, flavors & seasonal flavors with the ability to make suggestions
• Knowledge of our brand, all of our locations and events happening throughout the company

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old
• 2+ years as a bartender preferred
• Must be available DAYS, weekends and holidays
• Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance
• Basic math and computer skills
• Familiarity with the Toast POS system
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong task and time management abilities
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs
