Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS or Clover POS.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and provide personalized service that enhances their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, ensuring accuracy throughout each shift.
• Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate needs to management proactively.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs, recognizing intoxication signs, and following all alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during dinner events to ensure seamless food and beverage delivery.

Requirements

• Must pass ABC training and certification
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant, retail math, or food industry is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Toast POS or Clover POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet environments is advantageous.

Pay: $9/hour base + tips
Expected Earnings: $20–$35/hour including tips (varies by shift and experience)
