We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service and expertly crafted beverages. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks will contribute to a lively atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued. Whether working in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet environment, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring food safety and proper handling standards are maintained.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, following food safety protocols.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in retail math and cashiering procedures.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or late-night settings, addressing any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure timely serving of food and beverages.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, fine dining, nightclub, or catering environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume shifts.
