Bartender

The Delta King is looking for a passionate, experienced bartender to join the Delta King team. Right person MUST be engaging and experienced Bartender to provide attentive and friendly service to our guest. You must have extensive knowledge of different types of beer, wine, and liquor, and know how to mix a variety of specialty beverages, cocktails. This is a MUST- solid bartending experience is required to apply.

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

● Working knowledge of portion control and product identification
● Answer questions about beverage, food, and any other current menus.
● Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
● Take orders for beverages and food from guests.
● Responsible for accurately checking guest identification.
● Provide service to servers for cocktails in a timely manner.
● Check beverage and food orders prior to serving to ensure that they are correct, properly presented and that special requests have been met
● Communicate orders through POS terminal immediately
● Follow given drink recipes when dispensing drinks. Garnish beverages as needed per company standards and recipes
● Deliver beverage & Food orders promptly.
● Organize and prioritize service per appropriate sequence of service.
● Prepare guest checks through POS terminal functions and process guest payments by cash, credit card, venue comps and all other tender types.
● Responsible for proper check–out procedures.
● Responsible for ensuring accurate accounting of all bar money in the till.
● Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time.
● Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items.
● Keep the bar top clean and free of dirty glasses, dirty plates, trash, etc. throughout the shift.
● Clean all spills and waste immediately and place all trash in proper receptacles.
● Inform management of any complaint, comments or incident.
● Ability to create and maintain service rapport through The Company philosophy.
● Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner.
● Anticipate guest needs. Provide information to Guests regarding our venues, menus and pricing.
● Adhere to all company Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain all Company Sequence of

Service Standards.
● Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout the shift.
● Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations
● Respond to Guest concerns/complaints with a positive attitude. Promptly bring to a manager’s attention.
● Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated.
● Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring to a manager’s attention

● Refuse further service of alcohol to overly intoxicated Guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner.

● Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws.

● Maintain company safety and sanitation standards.
● Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed.
● Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately
● Assist all other team members as needed.
● Assists and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

● At least 2-year of experience in Fine dinning or upscale restaurant bartending
● Ability to work nights including weekends/holidays.
● Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
● Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
● Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
● Have a current Food Handler’s Card and RBS Certification.
● Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.
● Ability to lift 25-50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
● Point Of Sale experience recommended but not required ( Toast) we will train.
