Biggin’s West is one of Wichita’s busiest sports bar + nightlife venues—high volume, DJs, major game days, and nonstop energy. We’re looking for a strong bartender who can also step into a leadership role and run shifts smoothly. If you enjoy creating memorable experiences for customers, we would love to hear from you.

This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who can lead a team, handle pressure, and keep operations tight while still making great money behind the bar.

HIRING FOR NIGHTS: Specifically Monday - Friday at least 3 shifts with the ability to help cover weekends as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Bartend at a high level: fast, accurate, and engaging. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections.
• Lead shifts: manage floor flow, staff performance, and guest experience
• Handle cash management, comps, and closing duties
• Ensure staff is following service standards and policies
• Jump in wherever needed (bar, floor, problem-solving)
• Keep energy high while maintaining control of the room
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area & restaurant
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption. De-escalate situations and support security when needed while communicating with security.

• Proven bartending experience (high-volume preferred)
• Natural leader—people listen to you and respect you
• Strong decision-making under pressure
• Extremely reliable
• Ability to hold staff accountable without killing morale
• Organized, detail-oriented, and confident
• Knowledge retail math, and basic math skills
• Familiarity with banquet or restaurant operations is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Cash handling experience is required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
