Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred, along with strong time management and sales abilities. The successful <PERSON> will thrive in fast-paced environments and uphold the highest standards of food safety and responsible alcohol service.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
  • Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in settings ranging from fine dining to nightclubs or banquet events.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to process transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Restock supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed while monitoring inventory levels.
  • Assist with food service when required, including serving food in catering or banquet environments.
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and preventing over-serving.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts, managing time effectively in high-volume settings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles such as restaurant, nightclub, or banquet service; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
  • Previous experience in catering or food industry settings is advantageous.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability may be required depending on the venue.
