Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and process payments efficiently through cash handling or cashiering procedures.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and fostering a lively atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
• Manage multiple responsibilities including serving, bartending, and cash handling while demonstrating excellent time management skills.
• Support event service in settings such as nightclubs or banquet environments, ensuring seamless catering and beverage service.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, along with basic math skills for retail math and hospitality transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele in fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours.
• Previous experience in catering or food industry roles is advantageous; retail math skills are a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or nightclub shifts.
