Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during service

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender, preferably with fine dining or nightclub background
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred, including banquet or catering experience
• Basic understanding of brewing processes and beverage preparation techniques is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years old (or age required by local law) and hold any necessary permits or certifications for serving alcohol
