Bartender

The Lewes Yacht Club Restaurant is seeking experienced Bartenders!

LYC offers a competitive salary, excellent facilities, a fun environment, and food made from scratch. Candidates must be driven, and passionate about taking great care of our members and guests.

Bartenders typically make $10 an hour plus auto-gratuity. You must be versatile and accommodating, a team leader, collaborative, organized, and have a minimum of one year experience in full service upscale dining. You must have your ABC certification through the State of Delaware to be considered, and must be able to pass a background check.

Duties

- Steward our members-only Club culture of hospitality by creating amazing bar experiences and crafting delicious cocktails

- Provide exceptional service throughout the member's dining experience.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests.
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service and minimize wait times.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our menu and make recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and presentation.
- Provide exceptional hospitality and ensure guests feel welcome and valued.

Qualifications

- Minimum age for the Bartender position is 21.

- Prior experience in a fine dining environment or a related role is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tables at once.
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electronic POS systems.
- A passion for providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.
- Experience working in a team environment and contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Availability to work a minimum of 3-4 shifts per week, including evenings and weekends. Sunday availability is a requirement.
