Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service and building rapport.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Toast POS, including processing orders, payments, and issuing receipts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; respond promptly to any issues or concerns.
• Restock supplies regularly, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by verifying legal drinking age and recognizing signs of intoxication.

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is essential for efficient order processing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Demonstrated ability in time management to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests positively.
• Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous; retail math skills are beneficial for cash handling accuracy.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting adds value; previous nightclub or catering experience is a plus.
